Fall Protection Engineer
Location: Mobile role with office base in Rochester, Kent
Salary: Up to £38,000

About the Role: This role sits at the Engineer level in our engineering structure (Trainee →Associate → Engineer → Senior Engineer). You will lead site-based works, supervise where required, and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld across fall protection system installations and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain fall protection systems (safety wires, anchors, guardrails, etc.)
- Supervise on-site activities and ensure compliance with RAMS
- Complete inspection reports and documentation to BS 7883:2019 and manufacturer standards
- Provide technical support to junior staff and liaise with clients on-site
- Diagnose and carry out remedial works where required
Essential Skills:
- Experience in fall protection system installation and inspection
- Familiarity with BS 7883:2019
- SSSTS qualification (or equivalent site supervisory certification)
- Full UK manual driving licence
Desirable:
- PASMA/IPAF licence
- Manufacturer training (e.g. MSA, Latchways)
- Experience using Simpro or similar job management software
